Bruce Ellis Gardner

Bruce Ellis Gardner, 73, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024. He was born on March 8, 1951 to the late Howard and Dorothy Gardner in Newberg, Oregon. The Gardner family moved to Lancaster, California for Howard’s job with NASA and later moved to Oviedo, Florida in 1968. He graduated from Oviedo High School in Oviedo, FL in 1969. He then attended and graduated from University of Central Florida which was known as Florida Technological University at the time of his graduation. He spent 35 Plus years in the Computer Hardware and Software field. He loved to sing and he also liked to dress up as Santa for events that needed a Santa.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis A. Gardner of Altamonte Springs, FL; son, Bruce Eric and daughter, Amanda Gardner of Altamonte Springs, FL. Also survived by his sister, Marilyn Heft and niece, Barbara Martindale of Kansas; nephew, Vance Martindale of Nevada; his aunt, Betty Parker of Mesa, Arizona; and other extended family and friends.

A memorial service for Bruce will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home, 994 E ALTAMONTE DR, ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FL 32701. Following the memorial service, there will be a funeral service from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Dr, Winter Park, FL 32789.
