Cathy Ridilla Spring

She was born on November 2nd, 1960 in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Growing up, her most treasured memories are those with her mother Joan and three sisters, Amy, Pam, and Linda.

Today Cathy is survived by her mother Joan Ridilla, her sisters Pam Ridilla and Linda Johnson, her daughter and daughter in law Caitlyn and Jade Springcroft, and her husband Steve Spring. She is also survived by a dedicated best friend turned lifelong sister, Debbie Rigdon.

Cathy was hilarious, strong willed, devoted and compassionate. She spent over 30 years in the insurance industry, as a life insurance claims analyst for CNA and then The Hartford. She went above and beyond to provide for her family.

When her husband, Steve, had a severe stroke in 2016, she was an unwavering advocate for him. Her commitment to stabilizing her family unit during this vulnerable time and taking care of her husband and daughter was compelling.

During her final years she was able to enjoy her time playing card games with her mom and sisters, spending quality time with her beloved dogs, Tiffany and Toby, and watching her daughter Caitlyn graduate and get married.

Everytime you hear a Journey song, watch Dirty Dancing, or see a dachshund, please think of Cathy, for she is someone worth remembering for years to come.

A Gathering of Family and Friends for Cathy will be held Friday, March 21, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Baldwin Fairchild East Altamonte Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will occur Friday, March 21, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, both at 994 E Altamonte Drive, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701. A Reception will occur Friday, March 21, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Altamonte Chapel, 809 E Altamonte Dr, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701.
