Charles Franklin Sanders

Charles was born in South Fulton, Tennessee on June 15, 1936. He graduated from Ballard Memorial High School. He married his loving wife Barbara on May 18, 1956. Charles was an administrative supervisor in the US AirForce and retired as a Master Sargent and Vietnam Veteran. After retiring from the Air Force, Charles became a mail handler for the US Postal service. He had a love for Kentucky Wildcats basketball and History.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Karla Sanders, Parents Leroy and Arnell Sanders, Kenneth Sanders, Richard Sanders and Patricia Born.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Sanders of 68 years, son Douglas Sanders and many loving nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life announced at a later date.

All that knew Charles knew he was a wonderful and caring man. He is now with the Lord and reunited with his beloved Karla. He was a loving father and husband and he cared about the whole extended family.
