I worked with Mrs. Jones at Bear Lake and then when she transferred to Crystal Lake. I use to help Connie in the art room. She was always helping others even though she had so much of her own work to do. I try to tackle her closet and she was so grateful. She showed me a picture of her grandbaby trying to get in a pool of water while it was still cold outside, we laugh. She spoke about her family and how she loved them. I will miss her, she was so talented and so sweet.

I am so saddened to hear about Mrs. Jones. I ADORED her and have a love of art and creativity because of her! She was an amazing teacher and I remember seeing her rowing with her crew team at lake Fairview as a kid and I remember going back to school the next day thinking that I was the coolest for seeing my teacher outside of school! I told everyone!

Mrs. Jones you will be remembered for sure. Praying for your family ❤️

I am Connie’s cousin . I have such cherished memories of coming to Florida from Missouri to visit her when we were young. Being a couple years younger than her, I remember I always looked up to her. We reconnected a couple of years ago and saw each other a few times. I am so grateful for those times we spent together. I love that her daughter and my daughter got to meet . She was a very special lady.

I worked at Bear Lake Elementary with Connie . My first graders always loved Connie and her class. She was wonderful at bringing out the best in her students and everyone around her. So very sorry for your loss.

She was the first grandchild in our family-I was the second. I was close to her as much as possible and I loved her my entire life. I will see her again in Heaven and I look so forward to that day. My heart goes out to the family and her many students and friends. We called her "Cokie" when we were kids. This is one of the lowest days of my life...God Speed for now Connie...tell your Mom and your Dad I will see them again too...

Dear Gerry,
I’m so sorry to learn of Connies passing. She was so much fun to row along side the rest of Cre8Havoc. What a great sense of humor too! Rowing for years at crazy early hours, traveling to far away regattas and watching her brilliant smile will always keep her close to my heart.
I hope time and special memories of your family’s life will ease this most difficult time.
With all my heart,
Adrienne Payor
