Our strong, unapologetically independent, beautiful mother is finally at peace. Our grief is as wide as all the world’s oceans combined. Dale H. Barnett, 74, of Fern Park, passed away on August 29, 2020. She was born in Lynchburg, VA and moved to Central Florida in 1959. She graduated from Boone High School in 1964 and held several professional careers throughout Central Florida. Dale is survived by her two daughters, Robin Barnett and Angela (Charles) Binkley and her sister, Judy Mulcrone. Memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA in Dale’s name

THE ESSENCE OF DALE by her friend Rifat... The story goes like this There was once a hero Her name was Dale About her bravery and gardening skills Were made a lot of tales She had a few weaknesses But all of them had tails Because they were cats And were adored by our loving Dale

From Virginia to Florida Everything was conquered by Dale Even though she was lovely , Sometimes she was mistaken as a male Because of her unique name Dale for a female

She once met her apprentice His name was Rifat They went to a storage To get some work done While driving there Dale told him some tales He was very captivated By all of the details

They went to eat lunches They became quite a friends Rifat was so sure that their friendship will never end And he was right Because In the end Rifat will never forget About kindness of Dale Barnett

I was privileged to know Dale for over10 years. She was a wonderful woman of integrity who exhibited kindness and compassion. You always knew how she felt about an issue, even if she never said a word. Dale was always ready to lend a helping hand. She had so many stories and it seemed as if she knew everyone in town.
I’ve never known anyone like her; she was a very special lady. I loved Dale and look forward to the day I once again hear her say, “Hey Hon”. My thoughts and prayers go out to Robin, Angela and Charles and all of Dale’s family and friends.

I met Dale for the first time at Charles and Angela’s wedding and recall how young she looked. She always had the most beautiful skin. We later worked together at the same law firm (where she had helped to get me an interview). There were many things I admired about Dale - her strength, independence and determination, but what I admired the most was the love and compassion she had for all animals, especially her kitties. This is a heartbreaking loss. Sending my condolences and love to Angela, Robin, Charles, and the rest of the family. Hold on to the beautiful memories.

Dale was the warmest and most kind-hearted person I have had the pleasure of knowing! She was like a second mother to me and always treated me like I was one of her own. I will cherish those memories of her, especially when I look back at my younger years and how she always managed to keep me out of trouble. Extending my deepest sympathy to Angela, Robin, and the entire family. My heart goes out to each of you. I am so sorry for your great loss.

I was in Orlando attending my Granny's funeral and Dale was there. I went into the bathroom and came out of the stall, washing my hands. I was about to walk out of the restroom when Dale walks out of the other stall, she sees me and says "you may want to pull your dress out of your panties before you walk out the door". I had no idea and we giggled in the restroom for several minutes. In a time of my grieving she mad me laugh. We sat together through the service and held hands. I was honored to know her just a little bit. I love Angela and Charles so much and I am so sorry for your grieving hearts. She was a fine woman.
