All of my favorite memories of you are filled with happiness. At all the get togethers we'd see each other at, we could guarantee that any time there was a group of people laughing, we could be sure to find you a part of it. Perhaps that's a reason why my dad adored you. For as long as I can remember, anytime you two spent any time together, he would come home and tell us all about whatever great time you guys had. He considered you and Connie as family. We all did.

I'll never forget going over to grandma and grandpas house as a kid. Spending the night or weekend with them at the house by Midway. Grandma Connie would make me s'mores in the microwave after dinner. Grandpa would always spoil me by taking me out to eat at different places around the city. Piper always eating her food on the living room rug. The most memorable times were when grandpa would take me fishing by Navy Pier and we would catch those dang gobi fish, which he hated haha. I was extremely happy he got to watch me grow into high school and play football and become a young man. Years went on and distance came between us, but I have never, nor will I forget you and all the amazing times I had with you and our family. Rest easy grandpa, you're at peace now with your loving wife Connie, and I know you two will always watch over me and my family.
Your loving grandson, Peter Scott
P.S. You're a great grandfather now to a beautiful little girl. I'll make sure I tell Makenna all about you and grandma.

Dear Dad,

I will always remember the stories you shared with mom and us at home on Lorel: I.B.E.W. Local 134, political walks for your commitment to the Chicago political machine and the Cub Scout spaghetti dinners. You were and always will be the sweetest and kindness person that I came to know. It was been the greatest blessing in my life to have you as my Dad. I Love you Dad xoxoxo

You were the best Uncle!! We will always have great memories of you dressed as Santa at all our Christmas gatherings. Playing in your pool and barbecues were so much fun at your house. Thanksgiving was always a must at your house with Aunt Connie. Rest In Peace Uncle Dave.

Words can’t express how much we will miss you Dave. We’ll miss your kindness , your laugh and all those funny stories. You gave me away at my wedding and remained such an important part of my life. You, Connie and DJ shared in great memories of my children growing up as well. You will always have a special place in our hearts! We’ll love you forever.
