David Carl Mosure passed on July 17, 2026, at the age of 76 in Fern Park, Florida. He was born on August 17, 1949 in Miami, Florida. He attended Miami Palmetto High School as well as the University of Miami and received a Master's of Science in Kinesiology. David was married to Constance Mosure on December 19, 1971. David was a teacher for 40 years, and worked for both Miami Dade Public Schools and Seminole County Public Schools. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. David had a passion for history, shooting, hunting, fishing, diving, his family, his faith, and football.
David is survived by his wife, Constance Mosure; children, Heather Mosure Guerrero, and John David Mosure; grandson, Jackson Elias Guerrero; and sisters-in-law, Sandie Campbell and Alexis Campbell.
A Celebration of Life for David will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Baldwin Fairchild East Altamonte (994 E Altamonte Dr, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701). A gathering of family and friends will begin at 12:00 pm with a service to follow at 1:00 pm.
The family asks that donations be made in David's name to The ALS Association (als.org/donate).
