Dennis Ray Havard

Dennis Ray Havard, 59, of Longwood, FL, passed away at home on October 3, 2022. He was born in Orange,Texas on June 9,1963 to Nolan and Barbara Havard. He graduated as class Valedictorian from Aldine Christian Academy in Houston, then went to work in the Texas oil fields. Relocating with his family to Knoxville, TN in the 1980’s, Dennis continued growing his machining and construction skills which would later serve him well when operating his Florida home improvement business, Home Fixit Pros.

He was married to Jan Gudis on September 23, 2006 in Negril, Jamaica and lived in the Orlando, Florida area for 25 years. He had a passion for sports, hunting, fishing, boating, and gardening. He loved God, his family, and was a great friend to those who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Jan, his parents, Nolan and Barbara Havard, sister, Darlene Holcomb (Mark), niece, Kristin Nutile (Vincent), nephew, Troy McNeil (Melissa), three great nieces, and one great nephew, all of Knoxville, TN.

A a celebration of life for Dennis will be held Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 90 WEATHERSFIELD AVE, ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Florida 32714. A memorial service will also be held at a later date in Knoxville, TN.
