Edith Kathryn Wooley Hinson

Kathy lived a life defined by compassion, service, and deep connection with others. A dedicated nurse and respected leader, she earned her master’s degree in nursing and spent many years caring for patients and supporting fellow nurses at AdventHealth Orlando, known at the time as Florida Hospital.

A faithful Seventh-day Adventist, Kathy’s life was guided by her deep commitment to service, kindness, and helping others. Her faith shaped the way she lived and cared for the people around her.

Throughout her career, Kathy guided and mentored countless nurses, offering both wisdom and kindness. She was known for her generous spirit and her willingness to give her time, help, and encouragement to anyone who needed it. The friendships she formed during her years at the hospital remained meaningful and lasting throughout her life.

Kathy’s warmth, dedication, and caring heart touched many people. She is lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews, as well as by the many colleagues and friends whose lives she enriched.
