Esther May Wolfe Kalmbach, age 95, died in Sanford, Florida on March 1, 2021. She grew up in Columbus, Ohio and attended Ohio State University and was a member of Alpha Xi Delta While there, she met William, her husband of 70 years. She later earned a M.ED at Toledo U. Esther moved to Sylvania, Ohio in 1955 where she taught science and math for 21 years before moving to Pompano Beach, FL where she became a popular realtor for 36 years. In 2015, Bill and Esther moved to Cloudland, GA. Esther is in the National Forensic League Hall of Fame for coaching 3 teams to national HS debate championships. Ms. Kalmbach was an avid golfer, square dancer, knitter and world traveler. She is survived by her son, Gregory John of Sanford, daughter Carolyn Jane Milhan of Cloudland, Georgia, 7 grandchildren and over a dozen great-grandchildren. He is also survived by her brother, Jay Wolfe and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William and son, Michael.
