Mr. George L Milam

George was born in Ellenton, Georgia on May 21st, 1935 the son of George Wiley and Elma Willis Milam.

George was married to the late Dorothy Tucker Milam for 52 years and started their family in Tallahassee,Florida with the birth of their son George Lamar Milam in 1958. George started his career with Velda Farms and moved to Winter Haven, Florida where he had one of the largest milk routes in Florida and then worked his way up to management. George retired in 1999 and moved to Winter Springs, Florida where He and Dorothy “Dot” built a home in 2000.

Dorothy preceded George in death on October 30, 2006 and all six of his siblings Louise, Alice, Wynelle, Buddy, Paul and Carole.

George is survived by his son Lamar and his wife Adrianne, grandchildren George Lamar Jr his wife Sara, their son George Porter and Brooke van Kaam, her husband Javin, their children Adilyn, Asher and Annalee. George is also survived by his second wife of 17 years, Ola Williams-Milam, her son Glenn Williams, his wife Amanda and their three children, Charlie, Caleb and Ellie Williams.

George was passionate about his family and friends, his love for others was so great it couldn't be measured.

Whoever George met and loved walked away feeling better about themselves. His deep loud voice that could be heard across any room was always spoken with love, compassion, and kindness. He loved the Lord, his family, friends, his church and the word of God. He lived a full, happy, blessed, long life. To those of us who have known him and loved him, our lives will never be the same. George was one of a kind. Forever in our hearts.

A Gathering of Family and Friends for George will be held Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Baldwin Fairchild East Altamonte Chapel, 994 E Altamonte Chapel in Altamonte Springs, FL 32701. A Funeral Service will occur Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A Private Graveside Service will occur Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at All Faiths Memorial Park, 1390 Park Dr, Casselberry, FL 32707. Reception will be announced at the funeral.
