

Glen S. Newcomb, 51, of Apopka, FL passed away at his home on January 19, 2017. Born to the late Donald and Betty Newcomb in Mobile, Alabama on June 9, 1965, Glen was a good ol’ boy from the start. Raised in Alabama, he loved fishing and being outdoors and spending time with his cousins. In his youth, Glen lived in Singapore while his father worked, and attended the Singapore American School. Glen came to Florida in the 90s and has resided in Apopka ever since. He was an avid fan of University of Alabama football, and a graduate of the university as well. Glen worked as a data programmer throughout his lifetime, most recently as an independent contractor with Enterprise Experts (owner and operator). He adored his family and will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him. Glen was preceded in passing by his parents. He is survived by his sons, Donald Newcomb, David Newcomb, Charles Lemond (Cara), and Ray Lemond; his cousin, who was like a brother to him, John Morganti; and his granddaughter, sweet Sydney Lemond; as well as a host of other close family members and friends. A celebration of Glen’s life will be held on Saturday, January 28 at Baldwin Fairchild West Altamonte, 90 Weathersfield Avenue, Altamonte Springs, FL. Visitation will be held from 1-5pm, with service from 2-3pm.
