OBITUARY

Gregory Malcolm Peck

September 29, 1973April 25, 2018

Gregory Malcom Peck, born September 29, 1973, passed away April 25, 2018.

Gregory Malcom was an amazing son, brother and friend. He always had a smile on this face and a place in his heart for everyone who came into his life (and a key to his house). Gregg was born in Baltimore, Maryland and grew up in Longwood, Florida. He had a very energetic personality that everyone was drawn to. Gregg made many friends throughout his life, who all helped to shape the man he became. He will forever be remembered for his love of all those around him, his smile, his laugh, the way he made a stranger feel welcome. His indomitable spirit and the impact he had on all of those who knew him was unparalleled. We are all heartbroken at the loss of such a wonderful man but know that he will forever remain in our hearts.

He is survived by his Mom, Grace Peck his brothers Ronald Peck Jr, (Pamela) Michel Peck-Headley (Stephon) and his sister Hattie Peck. He is also survived by his 5 nieces and nephews, Mackenzie, Daniel, Mason, Gracianna and Alexander.

Gregory Malcom was predeceased by father Ronald George Peck.

He will be missed by many but his love will always carry on inside of us and his smile will never fade away.

Our heats go out to Gregg's family and many friends. We have felt a great loss, and still find it difficult to believe that he is gone. He will always be remembered in out hearts for his love and kindness. He had so much energy and was always busy. He could always make new friends immediately and was always running into old friends when we would go out with him. He made a great pasta dish and loved to share it, but would not share his recipe. We love and miss him.

Greggy was one of those people that no one could ever have a bad thing to say about. That means something in this world. He constantly had a genuine smile on his face and had the hugest heart. He was a great friend, and would do anything for you. He loved to pretend to be my body guard, and tell people I was famous back in our single days, especially when we would take road trips. Endless laughs about that. We had so many great times, but mostly he was such a joy to be around all the time. We could all learn allot from people like him.

Greg you were always a part of our family. From the day we moved into the house next to yours we became family, you took us all in, made Emory soup and gave her the pink juice, held Anna on her first day home from the hospital, and were a force of love and acceptance for all your little buddies that came over for dance parties, rides, and just to get away from it all. You always had an open porch for Eric to come over to, and included us in everything you did. We love you and you will always be in our hearts. You were an amazing friend, and we all miss you so very much. The girls made you necklaces to wear in heaven, they knew you would love them and rock them 💚

I was devastated when I read that you were no longer walking amongst us. I remember your bear hugs and your smile. You were always there when you were needed.
Rest in Peace.
My sincere condolences to your family and your infinite number of friends. God Bless.

I hold onto our memories
The ones that are so dear
To try to keep you always close
Now that you are not here
You were called, it was your time
No one understands... only Jesus knows why!
It is true ... you left a legacy
There was no one like you
You were very special
And I want to say I feel lost in so many ways!
You are not here today and I will never forget you and I know I have been blessed .... Because You were The Best!

My heartfelt prayers go out to all of you. I know you will miss him dearly. I knew Greg from the time he was dating my daughter, Veronica. He was so kind and loving not only to Veronica, but also to her son, Tyler. He will be missed by all. I would like to shareare a poem I found shortly after my younger sister passed away suddenly from a heart attack in 2005.

We little knew that day, God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death, we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you. You did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, your love is our guide. And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again

God bless and comfort you during your sorrow.

Sincerely,

Pat Oliver

I only knew Greg for a little over a year. He was the best neighbor we have ever had. I didn't have to ask him to help with anything; he was always ready and available. During the hurricane our fence fell down and he came during the hurricane and helped me put everything away so it wouldn't fly off. What a great guy and friend, he will be missed very much!

Gregg was an amazing man. Talented, funny and a fierce friend. I am still struggling to believe he is no longer on this earth with us. He will be missed by many including my family and I. Rock on in Heaven with your Dad Gregg but please know there is an emptiness left here on earth. Love you brother!
