He was married to Peggy Meyers for 63 years. After his U.S. Navy service, Ken graduated from college and later attended executive training at Harvard. He enjoyed a successful career with Gulf Oil Corporation. He was an avid golfer at Sweetwater Country Club.
A memorial service will be at First Baptist Sweetwater (chapel across the street) at 3800 Wekiva Springs Rd, Longwood, FL 32779 on Saturday, January 5 at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be offered to The Alliance of Baptists, 3939 LaVista Road, Suite E-122, Tucker, GA 30084.
