Herbert Elmore Richardson

Herbert worked for New England Bell phone company (now known as Verizon) in Massachusetts for 38 years. He retired from there and moved to Florida in 1992.

Herbert served his country in the United States Navy for four years. He was an extremely proud patriot and veteran.

Herbert was a member of Faith Assembly of God in Orlando, Florida. He served an usher at that church for 28 years. Being a part of the church was a major part of his life and his presence there will be missed.

Herbert is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Imogene Richardson.

Herbert is survived by his children, Kathy Burke (Dave) and Stephen Richardson (Catherine); grandchildren, Jennifer Ryan (Johnboy), Benjamin Burke (Dawn), Kelly Lavalle (Jim), Cynthia Novak (Joshua), and Stephen "Bear" Richardson, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Elliot Novak, Levi Novak, Tyler Ryan, Emma Ryan, Christian Ryan, Eric Burke and Jessica Burke; and sister, Leila Carey.

A visitation will be held at Faith Assembly, 9307 Curry Ford Rd, Orlando, FL 32825, US, on March 14, 2026, at 10:00 am. Following the visitation will be a funeral service at 11:00 am. A reception will take place from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Faith Assembly.
