Howard Mahoney

Howard A. Mahoney, 93 of Orlando, Florida passed away on August 10, 2016. Howard was born on January 21, 1923 to his late parents Carl and Edna Mahoney in Leesburg, Indiana. He moved to Orlando, Florida in 1965. Howard served in the United States Navy as a Merchant Marine and then went on to become a Telecommunications Engineer for the University of Central Florida. He was a member of South Orlando Baptist Church. Howard is preceded in passing by his wife Elinor and his sister Mildred Mahoney. He is survived by his sister Carol Fasick; his children Jane Hiatt (Michael), Donald Mahoney, Nancy Smith (Bill), Linda Yourgal (Michael), Sandra Bransford, and Patty Wheeler (Sonny); his grandchildren Russell Hiatt, Timothy Hiatt, Nathan Hiatt, Jami Mahoney, Brice Mahoney, Abagail Poole, Christian Smith, Michael Yourgal, Amanda Yourgal, Nicole Bransford, Allison Bransford, Christopher Fawley, Steven Fawley, and Daniel Fawley; and his great grandchildren Skye Hiatt, Nathan L. Hiatt, Abby Hiatt, Seth Hiatt, Brett Hiatt, Kyla Hiatt, Jarid Yourgal, Ryker Yourgal, Emily Fawley, and Ashley Fawley. Howard was a devoted husband, caring brother, dedicated father, and loving grandfather.
