Iris N. Cruz Otero

Iris was born in Humacao P.R. on August 17, 1960. To Candido Cruz Sanchez and Gloria Otero Hernandez. At the age of 7, the Family relocated to Philadelphia, then in the same year to Passaic N.J.

where she graduated from Passaic High School. She Returned to P.R. in 1983 where she started her Carrer as a HR manager with Kmart Corporation. In 1995, she married Randy Lopez and God blessed them with a Son, Luis Gabriel Lopez. In 2005 the family moved to Florida where she continued her career with Kmart retiring after 33 years of Service.

She became a born-again Christian following the steps of Christ at the Age of 12 and persevere in God’s Faith and Sane Doctrine until God Called her to his presence on 9-9-2023.

Iris’s most important focus was the Family, whereby the Grace of God she taught her son the knowledge of Christ. She enjoyed activities where she could relate to people and do what she knew how to do best, BE A FRIEND. She thrived helping others spiritually, emotionally and professionally, seizing the opportunities the Lord gave her in spite of the tribulations and trials she went through. Her favorite Scripture was Psalm 27, which sustained her and strengthen her faith in times of trouble. Her Life of prayer showed so much love to others encouraging many to get closer to God.

Now According to God’s Promises she is in the presence of the Lord rejoicing with her Savior for ever more.

She is survived by Her Husband, Randy Lopez. Her Son Luis G. Lopez, Her Daughter in Law Mica Lopez

Perez, Her brothers Luis Cruz, Eric Cruz, her Best Friend Elizabeth Agosto and many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 15, 2023, at 7PM at Church of the Springs, 742 Sanlando Rd. Altamonte Springs, FL 32714.
