He was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 16th, 1952 to Bernard and Anna Belle (Thorp) Ledebur. They moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he graduated from Northeast High School. He worked for Allied Signal Bendix in Fort Lauderdale as an electronics engineer for over thirty years, and then for Rockwell Collins in Melbourne until his retirement in 2019.
He has always had a special relationship with music. In his free time, he loved to sit back and listen to music in the living room. Often, he would pick up the guitar and play along with the music. He also restored classic 1950s-1960s Jaguars. He loved to travel to the Smoky Mountains and go on ski trips in Colorado.
Jim was preceded in death by parents Bernard and Anna Belle Ledebur, and sister Cindy Ledebur. He is survived by his former wife Louise Ledebur, children Brian Ledebur and Craig Ledebur.
