I enjoyed having James as my patient under Hospice. He was so sweet. He would always greet me with "Hey baby", even though I know he was not always feeling well. He loved to listen to country music during his massages. He will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to his family who are all wonderful and kind. They took such good care of him through his illness.

I have very fond memories of knowing Jim when he was in the navy and stationed in Norfolk. He would visit the Liners who lived outside of Raleigh. When he arrived by bus I was part of the teen group that would meet him and usually go by the Krispy Kreme doughnut bakery before heading home. I always found him to be a very pleasant guy.
My sincere sympathy to all of the Phillips family, especially his devoted wife, Maxcine and sister Pat.
