Jesse Wendell Twigg

Jesse was born in Hitchcock, South Dakota on February 17, 1932. He married his wife Joan on February 1, 1958. He worked in quality engineering for Stromberg Carlson and had a passion for Sailing, deep-sea fishing, nature, tinkering/inventing and family.

Jesse is preceded in death by his wife, Joan, his parents, Norman Bruce and Opal Twigg, brother Allen(Barb), Brother Harvey(Lois), Sister Marilyn(Herb), sister-in-law Velma, brother Larry(Beverly).

He is survived by his daughters Lynda(Russ) Monckton and Karen Dunham, Brother Cecil, Brother Dan(Judy), sister Nancy(Bob), grandchildren Jeremy, Robyn and Corey Monckton, and Kyle Dunham, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, March 22, 2024 at Nativity Catholic Church, 3255 N Ronald Reagan Blvd, Longwood, FL 32750. The service will be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend, nativity.org/livestream.

We will always remember our dad for his intelligence, strength, quick wit, great sense of humor and boundless generosity.

The family would like to thank the nurses, occupational therapists and physical therapists with Centerwell, Miranda, his night home health aide, the nurses at Advent Health Altamonte and the staff at Advent Health Hospice who helped dad find peace in his final moments.
