Joan Lynch Arckey

Joan was born on December 21, 1932, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, to Leo Martin Lynch and Anne Grace Lynch. From the beginning, she brought warmth, strength, and a caring spirit to those around her.

Joan will be remembered for her love of life, her adventurous spirit, and the joy she found in traveling—especially on cruises. She also devoted many years to her work in real estate and at Publix, and she took great pride in the love and support she gave so generously to her children and grandchildren.

She leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory: her brothers, John Lynch of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, and Mike Lynch of San Manuel, Arizona; her children, Tom and Karen Arckey of Denver, Colorado, Carol and David Adkins of Altamonte Springs, Florida, Paul and Maria Arckey of Zephyrhills, Florida, and Ray and Jody Arckey of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; and her grandchildren, Jon Arckey of Los Angeles, California, Brent Arckey of Sarasota, Florida, and Eric Arckey of Maitland, Florida. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Joe Ackler, who remained dearly loved.

The family will gather to celebrate Joan’s life at a later date and to honor the love, kindness, and memories she leaves with them.
