He was born July 28, 1965 in Winston Salem NC. He served in the Army for 6 years as an Army Ranger and was deployed overseas. He was proud to have served his country.
Joel had a love for many different things in life, his first being his wife Kristina. When he wasn’t spending
time with her he loved gaming. He changed from EverQuest to DayZ to World of Warcraft to Civilization and loved chatting with his friends online. He received his FAA Drone License and was proud to have learned the skill and knowledge to obtain it. He also had a passion for cars, with the Mustang being the most prominent.
He is preceded in death by his son Joel Willard, his sister Lynn Zidlick and mother Miriam Willard .
He is survived by his wife Kristina, as well as his son Jacob Willard (Sarah). He also leaves behind his sister Geraldine Scarborough (Fred), and brothers Roger Eckenrod
(Bettylou), and James Willard. He is also survived by his nephews Ron Scarborough (Lisa) and Alan
Scarborough (Kristen), and grandchildren Jaiden Anderton Willard and Jack Willard.
A visitation will be held on February 11, 2023 from 2-4 pm, immediately followed by a celebration of life
at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, located at 90 Weathersfield Ave, Altamonte Springs FL, 32714.
