Judy P. Groseclose

Judy is survived by sister Marian (Andy) Ufland-Andre, her daughters; Athena (Jorge) Sanchez and Judy (John) Gillmor, her grandchildren; Robert Ashworth, Jessica (Dane) Gillmor-Moyer, Amanda (Anthony) Sanchez-Sciacchitano, Ashley Gillmor, Jacob (Danielle) Sanchez, her great-grandchildren; Skylar Moyer, Addisyn Moyer, Alexander Sciacchitano, Elijah Sanchez, Sebastian Sciacchitano. She is preceded in death by husband Latha Groselcose, her parents Rudolph Perron and Loretta Kaestner-Perron, her siblings; Robert “aka Bob” Ufland, Glen Ufland, Jean Ufland-Stevenson, Florence Ufland-Martz, and her daughter Mary Groseclose-Ashworth.

Judy was born on June 10, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to Rudolph Perron and Loretta Kaestner-Perron. Although she was born in Detroit, Michigan she made the move down to Florida where she lived most of her life. She married Latha Groseclose, at a young age in 1960. The couple raised their 3 daughters in their Winter Park, Florida home. She served as the homemaker and loving wife and mother. Judy and Latha were a part of a bowling league for many years as part of their passion together.

In Judy’s later years she enjoyed theme parks, camping, and visiting time shares around Florida with her family. She also enjoyed puzzles and reading. She loved all things PURPLE and Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were special in her life.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hospice of The Comforter where she spent her final hours located at 480 West Central Parkway, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714 or any local food bank for the upcoming holidays. The family would like to thank all Judy’s caregivers at Consulate of Altamonte Springs Nursing Home, hospital staff at Florida Hospital Altamonte, and Altamonte Hospice of The Comforter staff for their efforts, care, and dedication.

Visitation will be from 5-8 PM, Friday, December 2, 2016 at Baldwin Fairchild West Altamonte Chapel, 90 Weathersfield Ave., Altamonte Springs, FL 32714. Funeral Services will be 11 AM, Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the funeral home with interment to follow in Highland Memory Gardens.
