Kathleen went home to be with the Lord on June 7, 2018. She was born August 29, 1923, in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, to George W. and Myrtle McKillip Hoover.
Kathleen and her late husband Richard F. Clason moved to Altamonte Springs in 1965. Richard was transferred to Orlando with the Naval Training Devices Center from the Naval Supply Depot in Mechanicsburg.
Kathleen was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Fern Park, Florida.
She is survived by a son Gary L. Blauser (Becki) of Batavia, Illinois; a daughter Cherrie A. Casselberry (Dan) of DeLand, Florida; four grandchildren: Tiffani Hutchens (Justin) of Fetcham, Surrey, England; Michelle Patterson of Deltona, Florida; Ashli Dove (Cale) of Palatine, Illinois; and Shawn Casselberry (Jennifer) of Chicago, Illinois; and two great grandsons: J. Preston Hutchens and J. Porter Hutchens of Fetcham, Surrey, England.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12, at Crossroads Baptist Church in Fern Park, Florida. It will be preceded by a time of Greeting at 10 a.m. at the church. Following the service, the burial will take place at 1 p.m. at Glen Haven Cemetery in Winter Park, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Crossroads Baptist Church in Fern Park, Florida.
