

Larry James Redmond, 60, of Altamonte Springs, FL passed away unexpectedly on May 9, 2016. He was born to the late James and Gladys “Bobbie” Redmond on February 11, 1956 in Ventnor City, NJ. Larry was in elementary school when his family moved to Florida, where he would spend the rest of his school years. After graduation and early in his 20s, Larry moved to California where he and his friends operated a lawn care business. When his mom passed in 1980, Larry moved home to be a caregiver to his father. Larry had a gift for caring for people. Once back in Florida, he became an electrician and later began a career with Home Depot, where he was employed for over 20 years. Larry enjoyed playing guitar, and was a talented musician. He was a big fan of the Beatles. Larry will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his brothers, Tom (Cathy) and Mike Redmond; nieces and nephews Ryan, Jodi, Jeni, Dawn, Michael, and Chris; great nieces and nephews Kela, Olivia, and Daxton; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Larry’s life will be held on Tuesday, May 17 from 5-7pm at Baldwin Fairchild West Altamonte, 90 Weathersfield Avenue, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Larry’s memory to any charity of your choosing.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Baldwin Fairchild, an honored Dignity Memorial provider.
