He was a proud Marine from 1970 to 1972 and an avid shooter even longer. He worked in the computer industry for over 20 years before chasing his true passion of inventing reloading tools. Through his own company, Innovative Technologies, he designed, patented, and manufactured multiple tools that he sold worldwide. The belted magnum collet resizing die, digital headspace gauge, and the wide view light reflector to name just a few.
Larry loved his family first and foremost. He was married to the love of his life Barbara for 45 years. If you talked to him for just a minute, you knew of his love and appreciation for her. He was a proud and dedicated father to his two daughters Sherry and Lori. His two grandchildren and their shenanigans were his source of light and laughter.
His interests included informal rifle competition, shooting pistol, shotgun, black powder, and archery. He enjoyed an occasional hunting trip, loved the fast cars of his youth, and would talk politics at holiday dinners. You could count on him to set you straight and direct you to his website for some additional education. www.larrywillis.com Larry would tell you not to miss “My Favorite Quotes” tab, because there’s important stuff there. So please take a look and then work them into your Thanksgiving dinner conversation for Larry.
