Lawrence "Bud" Wilson

Lawrence “Bud” Wilson, 86, of Altamonte Springs, Florida passed away on March 1, 2015. He was born to the late Samuel and Mabel Wilson on March 23, 1928 in DeLand, Florida. Bud was a man rich in faith. He spent a majority of his life in Altamonte Springs and was a dedicated member of Trinity Baptist Church of Apopka, serving as a deacon during his time there. Bud is survived by his wife of 61 wonderful years, Lynell (Thomas) Wilson. Together they raised 2 children, Lori and Scott. Bud worked as an electrical engineer for Florida Power & Light and was very mechanically-minded. He enjoyed fishing, being involved at church, and building and repairing anything. Bud will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved him. Bud was preceded in his passing by his brother, Paul Wilson. Jane Wilson ( surviving widow)He is survived by his wife, Lynell; daughter Lori Lyn Wilson Romero; son in law Joseph Romero; son, Scott Thomas Wilson daughter in law Tina Johnson Wilson; and sister Ruth Linder and husband Fritz. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 2pm at Highland Memory Gardens, 3329 E Semoran Blvd, Apopka, FL 32703.
