Affectionately called The Queen Mother, she was the matriarch of a loving family. Circumstances left her to raise her four daughters alone when her husband, Jerry, passed away unexpectedly. She worked at Sears for nearly two decades in the handbag department where she wore her high heels and always had a bracelet on. Later, she met and married a gentleman named Joe, together they traveled the world until his passing. Despite these adversities, Lilia continued to enjoy life and spending time with her family. Her final years gained challenges as her memory faltered, but her spirits, style, and sass never wavered.
Lilia was predeceased by her husbands Jerry Marx and Joseph Weckerle.
Lilia is survived by her daughters Jocelyn Nitsch, Melissa Schrenk, Kimberly Werner, and Heather Michalak. Her legacy is left with her 9 grandchildren: Jessica, Matthew, Meagan, Timothy, Jordan, Conner, Mitchell, Chelsea, and Sydney. As well as 4 great grandchildren: Mason, Cooper, William, Lincoln, and baby girl Schrenk on the way.
