
Marian Hatfield, 94, widow of Paul Hatfield, passed away Sunday, Aug 21, 2022 at her home in Altamonte Springs, FL. She was born in Huntington, WV where she was a member of the Westmoreland Church of Christ and owner of the House of Uniforms. After moving to FL in 1987, she became a mainstay in the children’s clothing dept of Dillard’s for many years helping several generations of parents and children. She was lovingly called “SueSue” by almost everyone who knew her. She enjoyed golf, decorating her house for the holidays, caring for her plants, making her famous banana pudding, and enjoying her companion cat, Ninja. She also enjoyed the company of her friends Linda, Pam and Millie and the family would like to thank them for the care and companionship they gave her.
She is survived by her daughter, Paula Grant; her granddaughters Lisa (Jason) Culver and Laura (Ryan) Taylor; and her great granddaughters Ashley and Taylor Richards as well as her many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her grandson Scott Grant, her parents Maude and Opie Jackson, Sr., and her four brothers Opie, Jr., Raymond, Harry, and Boyd Jackson and a special nephew Phillip Jackson.
A visitation for Marian will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 994 E ALTAMONTE DR, ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FL 32701. A reception will occur Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 994 E ALTAMONTE DR, ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FL 32701. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 994 E ALTAMONTE DR, ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FL 32701.
A private family burial will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513.
