Marilyn was born on February 12, 1930, in Gillespie, Illinois. Over the course of her 96 years, she built a life centered around family and leaves behind a remarkable legacy spanning four generations.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edwin A. Isaacs, and her sons, Thomas Isaacs and James Isaacs.
She is survived by her daughters, Jeanne Stalls (Wayne), Joyce Graham (Randy), and Susan Houghton (George); and her sons, Steven Isaacs (Sandy) and Dan Isaacs (Cynthia). Marilyn was a proud grandmother to 12 grandchildren: Lori Hoar, Brian Isaacs, Andrew Isaacs, David Mock, Andrea Swayze, Jamie Holland, Jesse Graham, Christopher Graham, Aaron Isaacs, Kaitlyn Vargas, Robert Houghton, and Tiffany Manzo.
Her family continued to grow throughout her long life, and she was blessed with 20 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Marilyn’s 96 years were measured not simply by time, but by the generations of family who knew and loved her. Her life and memory will live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, and through the countless memories they will carry forward.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
