

Martha Mae Levine, 89, of Apopka, FL passed away peacefully at home on October 14, 2017. She was born January 10, 1928 in Huntington, WV. Martha was a beloved mother, sister, and grandmother. She was a sweet and giving woman. Martha loved to shop, and mostly for her grandchildren that she adored. She also had a love for elephants. She worked as a waitress for many years at Bird Bowl in Miami, FL. Martha lived a full life and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. Martha was preceded in passing by her parents; her first husband Charles Levine; and her late companion, Herman “Poppy” Greene, as well as her son, Harry Rubin. She is survived by her son Albert Rubin; daughter, Jacqueline Stelling (John); siblings, Gloria Jean Sharp, Patricia Davis Morgan, Elmer Lee "Zeek" Davis Jr., and Robert Allen Davis; grandchildren, Steven Rubin (Alana), Nicole Jasperson (Joshua), Christopher Queiroga (fiancé, Lynn), and Gage Stelling; great-grandchild Haylee Mae Jasperson; and one more sweet great-grandchild on the way, Emma Grace Jasperson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee at https://www.elephants.com/ in memory of Martha’s love for these special creatures. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, October 29 at 10:30 am at the McDonalds in Apopka (3141 E Semoran Blvd) where Martha would meet with her friends every morning.
