She was born in Chicago, IL on June 29, 1941, and she graduated from Alverno College with a bachelor's degree in nursing. Mary Ann had a career in Home Healthcare.
She was married to Willard Roger Hanson on August 21, 2003. She was preceded in death by her brothers John, William, Mike, and Eddie. She is survived by her nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews from her deceased brothers John J. Halvey (deceased - 1995) and Michael J. Halvey (deceased - 1997).
A celebration of Mary Ann’s life will be conducted at 10AM (CST) for visitation, and Mass will follow at 11AM (CST), on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Lake Villa, IL 60046.
