Mary Lou Wells

Mary Lou Wells, 85, passed away on September 12, 2026. She was a devoted wife, mother, nana, sister, aunt, and friend, and she filled every chapter of her life with joy, kindness, and a signature sense of style that was entirely her own.

Born in Willard, Ohio, she grew up with a bright spirit and a natural sense of creativity. Whether she was putting together an outfit, choosing the perfect piece of jewelry, or simply walking into a room, she brought color, confidence, and her own special flair wherever she went. She had a gift for making people feel seen, supported, and uplifted, often with nothing more than a warm smile and a few encouraging words.

She loved her family, especially her beautiful granddaughters, her dog Daisy, card making, baking with her granddaughter, and ice cream. Her positivity was steady and genuine, and she never missed a chance to add a little sparkle to an ordinary day. Friends and family will remember her for her humor, her grace, her strength, her generosity, and the way she could turn even small moments into something meaningful.

She is survived by her sons, Scott Wells and Todd Wells; her daughter, Kristen Gustafson (Adam); her beloved dog, Daisy; and two beautiful granddaughters, Ciana Wells and Addison Gustafson, who will forever carry her light forward. She is preceded in death by her husband, Orvis Wells; her parents, John and Virginia Keinath; and her brother, John Cooper.

A celebration of her life will be shared once plans are finalized. The family welcomes stories, memories, and reflections from anyone whose life she touched.
