Ted Grant passed away peacefully on April 26th, 2025 in Winter Park, FL. He has reunited with his family - his parents, Celia and Barnett Goldstein, his brother Sidney Goldstein, his twin sisters Beatrice Goldstein and Doris Ferrara, and his beloved wife Shirley Grant.
Ted was born on December 28th, 1928 in Freehold, NJ. He grew up in Brooklyn, NY and a serene farm in Amston, CT. He served in the Army as a Technician from 1946 to 1947, and a second time from 1950 to 1951.
Ted earned a Masters in Business Administration from The City College of New York in 1958. He was a successful marketing executive for Standard Motor Products, traveling the world until he retired in the early 1980s.
His greatest joy in life was his family. He married Shirley Grant (neé Shertzman) (z”l) in 1950 and is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Bonaparte and Emiliano Bonaparte, and his son David Grant. Ted also has 4 grandchildren and 4 great-children.
If you’d like to honor Ted, the best way would be to do something kind for someone else—quietly, without fanfare. He never wanted to be the center of attention, but he believed in taking care of people. No act of generosity is too small. No flowers or donations needed.
