
Michael David Conner of Apopka, Florida passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 77. He was born on February 25, 1949, in Edinburg, Texas, and lived in Bradenton, Florida until 1990 when he moved with his family to the Orlando area.
He graduated from Southeast High School in Bradenton, Florida in 1967. He was a veteran and served in the Air Force from 1968- 1972. Michael was a general contractor and electrical contractor. He owned and operated Spectrum Electric Inc. for 25 yrs until 2019 when he sold the business and retired.
He loved golfing and was an avid cyclist, participating in many charity events. He attended The Church of the Annunciation Catholic Church in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Ingram Conner; his father, Charles Marion Conner; a sister Sharon Gedovin; and a brother, Charles Timothy Conner.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Beth Conner; three daughters, Ruth Belghazi; Heather Culbreath; Jennifer Bernard; and a son, Scott Conner. He was grandfather to eight grandchildren; Joshua Bernard, Justin Bernard Jordan Bernard Camerick Culbreath; Britton Culbreath, Will Culbreath; Meryem Belghazi, and Raquel Conner. Michael has three sisters; Roxie Brown, Marolyn Streitelmeyer, and Carolyn Rawlings, all of Bradenton, Florida.
The family would like to thank AdventHealth Hospice Care Central Florida for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days.
The family will hold a private family Memorial Service to celebrate Michael’s life and share memories.
