Missy & Valerie, so sorry for the loss of your beautiful mom. I'll never forget my first Director's trip, in the ladies room, where she taught me to put lipstick on my cheeks! She always made me feel special! I'm unable to be there for the celebration of her amazing life. Sending warm thoughts & my deepest sympathy to you and your family.

When tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand, that an angel came and called my name and took me by my hand.
The angel said my place was ready in Heaven far above, and that I’d have to leave behind all those I dearly love.
But when I walked through Heaven’s gates, I felt so much at home,
For God looked down, smiled at me and told me, “Welcome Home.”
So when tomorrow starts without me, don’t think we’re far apart, for every time you think of me, I am right there in your heart.

I never got to see Gammy very often, but when I did I made sure to spend as much time with her as possible. We always had so much fun together!! When Gammy and I talked after not seeing each other for a year or two, we would just start right back from where we left off. We could always make each other laugh even if it was just by looking at each other. I will never forget her big glasses she used to wear everyday. They were probably my favorite thing about her!! Overall, I miss Gammy so much and she will never be forgotten!! I know she is looking over me and watching everything that I do!! I love you Gammy!! <3

Mrs. Tift was one of my Mom's very best friends. I grew up seeing her as a beautiful, very classy lady admired by many. So sorry to hear of her passing and know she will be missed by many ...

Wonderful Mildred!! My plans to go visit her were delayed each time I was scheduled to go she had a hospitalization or health issue...so the visit never occured. Yet she knew I wanted to see her. She was indeed unique and spectacular!! An unexpected treasure that came in the starter kit!! I remember meeting her shortly after joining MK (will be 40 years ago this October!!) She was welcoming and interested in what I was doing to move quickly into directorship. She was herself already a director, if I'm not mistaken!! If she was new at it, I didn't know it!! Such style and grace and elegance.

Thinking of the Tift family and sending my love. Mildred was one of a kind!!! Susan Manocchio was sure to introduce me when I was coming up and I’ll always remember her explaining that Mildred was a wealth of knowledge. So true! The early years were filled with MK stories and education. It wasn’t long before Missy, Heidi Malburg and I became forever friends. Mildred’s strong opinions, funny stories and talent for finding the best restaurants made us smile. I picture she and Larry dancing in heaven just like they did in Jekyll Island. Such an amazing couple. I’ll miss her quick wit and strength. Grateful beyond words to call her my friend. Thanks Mildred for the memories and for giving us Missy! Love you big!

Mildred Tift, our dear friend

She was an amazing Director, a very special Friend, a beautiful Lady & always an inspiration.

She never stopped learning & sharing & growing & was always stretching to be better!

I remember the day she started her MK adventure in Miami 42 years ago!

She was 50 when she started & had never had a job outside the home!

What a Success Story she wrote! Bumble Bees & Diamond Rings, Pink Cadillacs, Trips, Top 10!!

She had a fabulous husband Larry who encouraged her every step & was so proud of her!

She has four beautiful daughters & a handsome son & now soooo many lovely grandchildren

& great grandchildren that she was so very proud of!

She left a wonderful legacy of love and excellence both personally & professionally.

I was very blessed, as so many of you have been, to know & love her all thru the years...

I will miss her greatly, but I'm sure she is smiling & dancing on streets of gold with Larry! Together !!

She will NOT ever be forgotten. Her legacy will live on in the hearts & lives of all those she touched with her wit and wisdom!

I Love You Mildred, my Forever Friend! You will always be close!

"I carry your heart in my heart!"

Prayers & Blessing & So Much Love to all her beautiful family.

My sweet friend, I had just talked to her the night before she went to the hospital. I remember when she taught us in Dallas ,when I went for the first time, on Doris's bed in a hotel room . We all were in awe of her. Over the years we became very close. I loved her like a mom. On one hand, I am sorry to see her go, but on the other hand, I celebrate her wonderful life and know that Larry was greeting her in heaven. I love her family . I love Missy who I am the closest to. Missy took such good care of Mildred.I know that Mildred would not have lived as long if it wasnt for Missy's loving care.
