I can’t expres how sorry I am for the loss of nick. His house was the first place tim took me to after we started dating and no matter what, I have an amazing 10.5 year old. Nick was an amazingly giving person who was there for his friends as much as he could be.

Nick was the sweetest, kindest and most generous friend my son has ever known. Nick loved his family and he loved his friends. I cannot find words rich enough to describe him. My heart breaks for his mother Becky, who he absolutely adored. In time, I pray that all who knew and loved him will find peace. Even though we will all miss him, I know he is in a better place. He often shared his pain of losing his Dad, and then tragically his younger brother. Now, he can be at peace when he sees them again. So, until we meet again Nickel, I love you. Thank you for all you did to help others! You are the definition of "true friend."

In a flash, all the memories from 20+ years ago came back into focus as I was told this morning of Nick's passing. Though it's been years since I was a part of his life, I always cherished the times we spent in high school with our close group of friends. I pray for peace and comfort for Nick's family and friends, and anyone that knew him.
May you rest in peace Nick...

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. Losing a loved one in death, especially at such a young age, is such a difficult thing to cope with. My heart goes out to the family and friends during this time. Please take comfort in knowing that God views death as an "enemy" and will act to end it forever (1 Cor 15:26). God's Word also promises a time in the future where we can all have a hope of seeing our dead loved ones again (John 5:28,29). Take care.
