Noreen Lowe Tibbetts

She was born in the family’s Rose Cottage in Mitchelstown, County Cork, Ireland on July 4, 1928, to Sheila Ryan and Arthur Lowe. She grew up in the southern coastal town of Bournemouth, England, surrounded by dozens of aunts, uncles and cousins. In 1950, along with her mother, she emigrated to the United States to join her younger sister Sheila, who was already living in Boston. Within a very short period, she met the love of her life and eternal soulmate, Wes Tibbetts. They were married on August 5, 1951 and lived in Connecticut and New Jersey before eventually settling in Florida where they raised four of their five children.

Noreen raised her kids as a stay-at-home Mom, joining the workforce later in life and taking the real estate world by storm, quickly rising to a multi-million-dollar producer. She loved it so much that she worked until the age of 82.

A devout Roman Catholic, Noreen loved God and her family with all her heart. She also loved to travel, especially cruising, and placed her Rome cruise at the top of the list as she was at St. Peters Square when Pope Francis celebrated his very first outdoor Mass. Additionally she loved her pets, gardening, reading, music and anything related to yarn, needles and hooks!

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wes; her son Richard Mark; her mother and father; and her sister Sheila Miceli.

She is survived by her children Paul (Tammy) of Ormand Beach, FL; Linda (Bob) of Casselberry, FL; Nancy (Rich) of Casselberry, FL; and Dave (Michele) of Oviedo, FL; as well as her sister-in-law Marjorie Oxford of Natick, MA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous step grands and great grands.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at 11:00 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 375 N Sunset Drive, Casselberry, FL, followed by internment at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park, FL. A reception will follow at her home.
