

Peter Remy was born on May 25, 1942 in Castries, St. Lucia, West Indies. He is the eldest of 4 children born to the late Richard Charles and Verona Remy. Peter migrated to London, England in 1966 and in 1968 he met the love of his life Volma Grizzle. They were united in holy matrimony on July 4, 1971. Peter and Volma Remy migrated to New York City in January, 1972. To this union were born Camille Venessa and Peter Jean- Claude. Peter worked as an auto mechanic for over 20 years in New York City. He retired due to health reasons. Peter was very active in his church. He was a proud Seventh- Day Adventist and work endlessly to win souls for Christ. Peter and family migrated to Orlando, Florida , June, 1992. He worked for 15 years with Orange County Sheriff Department in capacity of crossing guard. Once again, he had to retire as a crossing guard due to declining health. Peter passed away on August 16 2014 at 1:04 p.m. with his loving wife, Volma holding his hand. He leaves to mourn his wife of 43 years, Volma, two children, Camille Venessa and Peter Jean- Claude, one adopted daughter Marie, 3 adopted granddaughters, Valerie, Natalie and Stephanie and one adopted great-granddaughter, Arianna, one sister, Matilda, 2 brothers, Patrick and Joseph, sisters-laws, Cynthia, Joan, Hazel , brothers-in-laws- Ralston, Fredrick, Patrick and Leon and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
