Phyllis June Holvey, 82, passed away on February 6, 2015 Phyllis was born June 1, 1932 in Lodi, OH to the late Diamond and Marie Eggeman. She, her late husband Jack Holvey, and their children moved to Maitland, FL in 1961. Phyllis spent 32 years working with the city of Maitland where she served as City Clerk and later as City Manager. She is survived by her son Roy Fluharty (wife, Trudie); her brothers, Ed and Bill Eggeman; her sisters, Pat Hankins and Connie Simpson; her grandchildren, Heather Dragon, Heidi Blue, Josh Laws, SSG Wyatt Fluharty, SGT Maya Burch, and Sylvan Fluharty; and her ten great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Village on the Green for being so caring and compassionate to Phyllis in her last few years. Memorial contributions can be made to the Make A Wish Foundation in her memory.
