

On August 16,2020 Phyllis Mann went to walk with the angels at the age of 90.
Phyllis Anne (Schoenheider) Mann was born on June 14, 1930 in Pontiac Michigan to Arthur and Orva (Vogelsang) Schoenheider.
She was married to Lawrence Mann on May 21, 1949, in Lansing Michigan.
She is survived by her husband Lawrence, brother Donald Schoenheider, daughter Connie Salvino ,sons Carey and Kevin. Also survived by her grandchildren Jon Butler, Daniel Butler, Morgan Salvino(Crocker) and Micheal Mann.
Also blessed with great grandchildren Sophia Butler, Kate Butler, Emily Crocker and Zachary Crocker.
She also had close family ties with nieces Judy, Jan, and Doug Schoenheider in Michigan.
Phyllis was the biological mother of three children however many consider her as a surrogate mother. A passion for loving any and all children not just her own.
Also survived by her Dachshund Gabby and Dicey the cat along with the many , many animals saved and raised thru her time.
Phyllis and family moved into Spring Valley in Altamonte Spring, Florida, in 1976. Involved with the Garden Club, Tennis Club and Bridge Club. Involved with the planning of the front entrance by saving land and helping get the beautiful Oak trees planted. Volunteering to save and restore the original street sign/post along with season decorating for them.Really loved living here and her many friends in the Valley.
Phyllis's passion for gardening and garden design. Always point out the fact that she was a gardener and not a farmer. Her green thumb has saved many plants that were given up on.
Phyllis enjoyed cooking the old fashion way from scratch. An extensive collection of recipes handed down thru the family along with her own. Always remembering to bake favorites with love for birthdays and holidays.
Phyllis spent many days and time at the beach collecting shells. She loved going fishing and living the Florida life. She has accumulated a collection of shells,driftwood,lobster trap buoys, and her prized sharks teeth that would rival any museum.
Phyllis is deeply missed by her family and friends. Her legacy lives on with everyone that knew her in the form of her spirit passed down thru generations. Her sense of good advice and family value cannot be measured and she proved that regularly.
