Pierina Cortina, 93, of Altamonte Springs, FL passed away on March 24, 2016. Pierina was a kind, sweet woman known for her gentle spirit, her passion for her church, and her gifts of sewing and gardening. She will be deeply missed by her three children and many other relatives. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 28 at Baldwin Fairchild West Altamonte, 90 Weathersfield Avenue, Altamonte Springs, FL, 6-9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, March 29 at 10am at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 861 Maitland Ave., Altamonte Springs, FL. Entombment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, 5000 County Rd 46A, Sanford, FL. Floral contributions can be sent to Baldwin Fairchild West Altamonte at 90 Weathersfield Ave.
