Richard A, Shaw (also known as "Dick Shaw the Whistler”) died on September 19, 2016. He was born on November 11, 1925 in Norristown, PA. He is survived by his wife of 71 years W. Joyce, son Richard A. Shaw, Jr. (Renee), daughter Carol Jeanne MacLennan (Scott) and granddaughter Katie Ann MacLennan. Dick was a veteran of WW2, serving in the Pacific aboard the USS Custer. He was a member of the Altamonte Springs Rotary Club, The Tuesday Morning Entertainment Group, The Shaw Clan, Smoke 'n' Cinders, Florida Garden Railway, Int’l Association of Whistlers.
