Robert Don Fulbright

Fulbright graduated from Forest Lake Academy in Apopka and went on to graduate with a double major in accounting and marketing from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee. Fulbright had worked with Adventist Health System for 25 years. He was a senior executive officer for Florida Hospital Orlando with additional oversight of Florida Hospital Winter Garden before becoming the CEO of the East Florida Region of Florida Hospital in October 2015. He had also held leadership positions at Florida Hospital in Altamonte Springs, Winter Park, DeLand, Kissimmee and Tennessee Christian Medical Center.

Fulbright met his wife, Yvonne Susan Gibson, during their first year of college. The two married on December 22, 1992, in Middletown, Ky., and came to Orlando in 1997. They had 4 daughters together, Alexandra, Sophia, Isabella, and Victoria. Funeral services will be held on Friday at Calvary Assembly at 1199 Clay St. in Winter Park. Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and service begins at 11:30 a.m.
