Ruth Harris Westgate was born to Henry A. Miner, Jr. and Mary Miner in Linchfield, Ct on November 28, 1928. She was born Carolyn Ruth Miner. Her name changed to Ruth Mabel Stevens when she was adopted by Cyril Donald and Mabel Hendricks Stevens. She was married April 9, 1949 to Charles B. Harris in Schenectady, NY. She moved to Tampa, Florida in 1956. She was a retired bus driver. retiring in 1991
She is preceded in death by her husband Charles B. Harris and her grandson Phillip Charles Richard(6/19/1983-8/7/2001)
She is survived By 5 children; Jeanette Ure, Patricia(John) Tagliarini, Donald Harris, Steve(Cheryl) Harris and Crystal(Harold) Morse. 10 grandchildren. 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
