Sandra M. Hernandez, 74, of Maitland, Florida, passed away on December 25, 2024. She was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico on May 7, 1950. Sandra graduated from Winter Park High School and then received a Bachelor’s Degree from Florida Technological University, now University of Central Florida (UCF) in Microbiology. Sandra had a career as a microbiologist for Florida Hospital, which is now Advent Health. She had a passion for reading, puzzles, animals, and flowers. She is survived by her children, Stefanie Hernandez, and Christine Hernandez; grandson, Elio Wade Deleon; mother, Margarita Rosado; and brother, Ivan Rosado.
