Sharon Christine Jernigan, 79, of Longwood, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on August 14, 2023. She was born to parents Aileen Hughes and James Spurlock on December 7, 1943, in Roswell, New Mexico.
She was united in marriage to Donald L. Jernigan in 1978. Sharon was a member of the Spring Meadows Seventh-day Adventist Church. She dedicated her life to sharing with others her love of music. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Sharon is survived by stepdaughters, Jill Fritz and husband Richard; Jana Heath and husband Tim; grandchildren, Garrett Fritz and wife Angela; Gavin Fritz and wife Catherine; and Hartlea Heath. She is also survived by a great grandchild, Ellianna Fritz. Sharon will be laid to rest with a private service in Texas.
