Thomas John Dennis passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017 in Deland, Florida. Receiving of friends will be at Baldwin Fairchild East Altamonte on Sunday, April 2, 1:00 p.m. followed by service at 2:00 p.m. Tom was preceded in death by his parents Anabelle and Fred Dennis, his son Darren, his step son Chris, and his brother David. He worked as a Winn Dixie executive in Central Florida for over 40 years and was a Navy veteran. He is survived by his wife, Joan Dennis; daughters Kendra Wolfrum (Douglas Wolfrum) and Davia Moss (Lexie C. Moss IV); grandchildren Terrikay, Danielle, Shelby, David, and Lexie; great grandchild Wesley; brothers Richard and Freddy; sisters Colleen, Val, Mary, Erin and Jeanne; an abundance of nieces and nephews; the mother of his children Lynette Dennis, and many lifelong friends that admired Tom. In lieu of flowers, consider making a donation to the Salvation Army in honor of Tom. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Haven Hospice and Moffitt Cancer Center.
