Victor J. Reyes-Mateo, 90, of Orlando, Fl., was welcomed into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father on Friday, March 15, 2024.
He went to his eternal rest after losing his battle with cancer.
Victor lived an exemplary life and leaves behind a legacy of love. He is dearly missed and remembered by countless family and friends, including his loving wife of 68 years, Carmen, as well as his children Victor Reyes, Jr.(Shelli Reyes), Carlos E. Reyes (Peggy Reyes), Evelyn Reyes (Brad Reinhard), his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his infant sons, Orlando and Edgardo.
Victor served his country with honor, for over 25 years in the United States Air Force and for 18 years as a civil servant with the United States Postal Service.
He will be buried with full military honors at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
