Growing up I spent every weekend at my grandparents house Roger and Margaret Simpson,  Pops included. I remember being in grade school and Pop pop took off his slipper put his foot up on the couch and said “Ever seen a hammer toe before?!” I turned pale as a ghost and felt like I was gonna pass out. He thought it was the funniest thing in the world, and it sure helped toughen me up. I’m now in nursing school and think of this memory often. My grandparents took amazing care of him these last few years, and pops was always able to do little things to help around the house. He was a man of his word and very generous. Trips to Florida will feel a little different now but I can only imagine what it will be like to be reunited with him. I love you Pop-pop! Your great granddaughter,

Pop pop was a good man. Never complained and everyone else came first. He was Passionate about family and loved card games. He offered us all so much. I loved him. 

I remember Pops as being such a giving and caring man.  He was always trying to sneak us money and if you tried to say no watch out.  He was the best Grandpa and Great Grandpa we could ask for. He will be greatly missed. Love you Pops. Karen 

Pop, you were "one of a kind" -- among the sweetest, funniest people I've known  this side of heaven.  Thank you for caring for all of us -- and for your uncanny way of winning EVERY card game we ever played!!

I always called Wesley"Pop" like a lot of us did at our CHURCH.  I'll always remember his beautiful smile.  When ever I saw him I felt a warm presents around him.  And he always had that smile.  He loved people and it showed. 

I will miss seeing him on Sabbath.  I loved him very much.  But I will see him soon "In Heaven"

Margret & Roger, He was lucky to have you both.  I can see why he was so sweet, he came from good stock, as they say.  Thank you for caring so much for him over the years.
